This All America Selections garden award winner has been recognized as an excellent breeding achievement. The unique shiny leaves give a more intense, vivid color as compared to existing ornamental kales. Glamour Red reaches maturity approximately 90 days from sowing. The rosy-red frilly inner leaves, surrounded by dark green leaves, begin to color up when night temperatures fall below 55°F. It exhibits good disease tolerance in all regions of the country.
