Pike green bean is a consistent performer that yields medium-dark green pods that are 3 sieve. It has a superior, upright plant type that offers excellent ease of harvest for mechanical or hand operations. Pike produces straight, smooth 5-1/2" pods that hold well at maturity and have the deep green color that markets now demand. Throughout the Northern US, it has shown excellent yield ability, consistency, and field holding ability, even under stressful growing conditions. Patent 7511197.
