This strain of this popular winter keeper type beet produces roots that are not quite as large as the Lutz stra" The glossy green tops have deep pink veins and the stems are deep pink striped with green. The delicious beets have an oblate shape that tapers towards the tap root. The roots have a tender flesh that is sweet and store well for several months after harvest.
